Finally some activity at the proposed Tapas restaurant over on Cass. Why does everything have to take so long?1

So now that Whole Foods is open we can move onto other news. This is a very big project in the New Center area, specifically Tech Town near Woodward and Burroughs. It is going to be the Multidisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (MBRB) . It is HUGE in terms of importance to Wayne State University and Detroit!
All but 2 of the windows are in place in the theater portion of the new development on Woodward.... ...and next door in the residential and retail section things continue to move along. When construction begins on the light rail Woodward and all it's infrastructure will be replaced. This will be an amazing stretch of Woodward!
Cobo Update
If you weren't able to make it to the Auto Show, here are some photos of the current progress. The new Atrium is actually open! I would never have believed that they would complete it in time. It is awesome!
