 The Exchange in Greektown New Residential Tower Exchange Detroit LLC, working with company Barton Malow and subsidiary LIFTbuild, is developing a 16-story residential tower on Gratiot and Brush. The building, which will contain 153 apartments along with 12 condo units, is being built  from the top down  using a proprietary system: each floor plate is constructed at ground level and lifted up into place. The  $64.6M development  received a  $4.6M brownfield tax incentive . Construction  began in September 2021 and the anticipated completion date is spring 2023. New Housing in Brush Park The Platform and Queen Lillian are developing a mixed-use building on Woodward and Stimson. An office building was  originally envisioned  for this site in 2013, before  changing to apartments in 2016. In November 2020, the current project, Woodward West, broke ground. It  will include 204 apartments  and 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. It is expected to  open in 2022 .  Another New Hotel for Detroit The Godfrey in Corktown Oxford Capital Group and Hunter Pasteur  broke ground  on the Godfrey Hotel Detroit in September 2021. The seven-story, 227-room boutique hotel in Corktown will have a restaurant and rooftop bar.
