I'm kind of torn when I hear the word gentrification. I took a big step moving here. I thought I was doing a good thing with the idea of doing my part in helping Detroit recover from years of decline. I guess there might be some that don't see it that way. What do you think? Was I wrong or are these people just afraid of change?

You're never going to make everyone happy. Detroit couldn't ask for more loyal, humble, adventurous people than you and Mom. You both also love supporting anything local which to me seems like the best thing to do to help Detroit be great again.
