Work is finally moving along on the Woodward Garden Theater which is to open spring 2013! According to the Detroit News it will have 1,300 person capacity for concerts of all kinds with 47 "market rate and high market rate" apartments. This is on the same block as the new Great Lakes Roasting Company that just opened. More good news for my neighborhood!

Mixed Use Building at Woodward and Stinson

New Housing in Brush Park The Platform and Queen Lillian are developing a mixed-use building on Woodward and Stimson. An office building was  originally envisioned  for this site in 2013, before  changing to apartments in 2016. In November 2020, the current project, Woodward West, broke ground. It  will include 204 apartments  and 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. It is expected to  open in 2022 .
